Getting up at 5:15 to get to surgery by 6:30 so the doc can begin the slicing by 8. Should be done by around noon. I'll update again as soon as I'm lucid enough to write.
I'm in my fifth year at Rice University attempting a PhD in applied physics. Wish me luck. I have a tendency to get stupidly philosophical about things and can analyze them to death, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum on here. Who wants to read that crap, anyway? (Actually, who wants to read the rest of it?)
